The Lord's truth manifests itself in many forms, and some are beyond words. Creativity and art, the theme of this issue of Connection, can help us communicate some of these beautiful or inexpressible elements of God's Kingdom.
As David Lindrooth points out in his article, we were each created in the image of God the Creator, which suggests we ourselves are meant to create! Whether it be painting, music, cooking, building, writing... we are each called to use our individual gifts we were given to add to the world around us. And even as I write this, I'm am struck by the beauty of an amazing sunset just outside my window... truly an inspiration from the Divine Artist!
"But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand" (Isaiah 64:8).
