What do I do if I am comparing more than enjoying?

We know the comparison trap has sprung if we are comparing more than enjoying. How do we get out of that dilemma?

Green with envy — will we ever have enough stuff?

We can all turn "Green with Envy." In our relentless pursuit of "stuff", how can we come to see the world and our possessions differently?

 

Comparisons about appearance, image, and beauty

Who cares about appearances? Or what others think about us? Lots of us. Often, we attach our self-worth to an image, and we receive messages every day from marketers (and others) encouraging this.

How does the Lord help us to overcome the challenges to live up to an expectation, instead of being our God-given self?

Coveting believes happiness can be found in possession of things. Spirituality believes happiness can be found in the expression of love for others.
